Cedar Hall

The Cedar Hall (choose from a Tab option below)

cedarhall180In 1962 parishioners decided they needed a new community hall. After raising £10,000, the new hall was eventually opened in March 1973. Dilwyn's new community center became known as the Cedar Hall and is now run as a registered charity. It is located next to the school. Regular users include the Dilwyn Young Farmers, Keep fit and Yoga classes, Cedar club, Dance club, Playgroup and Mums and Tots. The hall is also used for special events such as weddings, parties, wakes and various fund raising social events. An innovation is Flicks in the Sticks which gives parishioners a monthly opportunity to see recently released and other popular films at the hall. Even more recently, the hall now hosts a monthly produce and craft market.
