Dilwyn Playgroup is a friendly, play-oriented pre-school where children are encouraged to learn and develop into confident, independent individuals. It is run from the Cedar Hall in the heart of the village of Dilwyn. Playgroup was first established in 1973 run by parents and has developed into an Ofsted registered pre-school setting for 2 to 4 year olds. Children are accepted when they turn 2 years old (and also if they are still in nappies/pull-ups). An experienced, qualified and caring team of staff look after the children, with a high ratio of adults to children meaning individual care and attention is possible.
Parents are welcome to stay to settle in their children with a free trial session available.
Dilwyn Playgroup runs from the Dilwyn Cedar Hall on;
- We offer the option of full day sessions on a Monday and Tuesday with the option of a morning session, lunch club or afternoon sessions.
- Children who are eligible for Nursery Education Funding (Over 3's) are able to spread their 15 hours entitlement over the week.
- We are open during term-time only.

Dilwyn's History
The Cedar Hall is Dilwyn's community hall and is an excellent facility for wedding receptions and parties of any description, as well as for meetings, film show, etc. The rates are very competitive and compare most favourably with similar facilities elsewhere.
