Ruth Ford and Julia Hall attended the Heart of England in Bloom Regional Awards Ceremony in Newcastle under Lyme 16th September 2010 to receive the Silver Gilt award. They were invited to attend a free lunch and meet all their fellow Bloomers. They were joined by Leominster in Bloom, Pembridge, Eardisland to name a few. They also received judges feedback regarding Dilwyn's entry.
To deliver the results, Dilwyn in Bloom held a results evening at the Crown on the Sunday 19th September and where was also judged the Runner Bean Competition.
The results are as follows
- 1st John Abley - Runner Bean measured 59 cm
- 2nd Julie Carpenter and Rose Thomas - Runner Beans 43 cm
Children Section
- Freya and Rowan Kelly join 1st - Runner Bean 44 cm
Ruth and Julia would like to say a big thank you to every one who attended and to Erica Creer for the Hereford Times report.
They would also like to say a big thank you to every one in Dilwyn for their help and support through the current year's entry.

Dilwyn's History
The Cedar Hall is Dilwyn's community hall and is an excellent facility for wedding receptions and parties of any description, as well as for meetings, film show, etc. The rates are very competitive and compare most favourably with similar facilities elsewhere.
