The Cedar Club

cedarhall180Essentially a social club, Dilwyn Cedar Club meets on the third Thursday of the month, at 2.30pm in Cedar Hall. The Committee aims to provide a varied programme of speakers, with interesting subjects to cover all tastes, and also arranges several outings during the year, for which a coach is booked. We welcome suggestions for speakers and places to visit.

There are four teams of ‘hostesses' who, in turn, provide a delicious afternoon tea (not just a ‘cuppa' & biscuit), which is always a surprise for our speakers! We are all very grateful for their dedication in preparing this. A raffle concludes the meeting, the proceeds of which go to subsidising some of our activities.

Non-members are always welcome to come to a meeting as visitors, many of whom later decide to join! Membership of the Club, with a small annual subscription, is open to anyone in the Community who wishes to join. New members are always welcome; why not come and join us? Initial contact can be made with Anne Gerrish (318633) or Chris Jennings (319190), or just by turning up to a meeting.

The Cedar Club aims to offer, to the more senior members of the community, the opportunity for fellowship and good company, by holding monthly meetings with tea in the Cedar Hall, usually with a speaker; occasional outings are also arranged.  Membership of the Club, with a small annual subscription, is open to anyone in the Community who wishes to join.  New members are always welcome; why not come and join us? Initial contact can be made with Anne Gerrish (318633) or Chris Jennings (319190), or just by turning up to a meeting.
